the familiar cycle of procrastination and dread as the exams roll around. being angsty at the crappy system in place, and complaining about it to no end. here's a complaint... if i were in any power at all, i'd design exams to test one's ability to think. for the most part, exams here test one's ability to remember information. because, after all, it's okay if you don't know how to use the information, as long as you remember it, you're fine. learning is a passive process. proponents of the above stated wild (stupid) claim are also likely to be the ones to agree that slavery is the only way to end third world debt and eradicate poverty. bahhhhhhhhhhhhhh
